THE ENERGY SAVING ACCORDING TO LOVATO:EASY, PRECISE AND EFFICIENT.

They maintain the advantages of the centralized system and in the same time give the liberty to choose the right temperature, the working time and the individual management that satisfy the requirement of the single user. 

 

Accurate billing and recording with meters with LOVATO interface units. Energy saving from 15% to 25% of the consumptions.

Most of the centralized systems can be managed as an individual system if provided with an heating interface unit that control and monitor the energy of each flat. Separate meters in each apartment ensure more consumption transparency and the end-users pay for what the use.

LOVATO offers a wide range of solutions. The HIU LOVATO measures the heating/cooling energy and the hot/cold domestic water flow rate.

TIGER 1 is a compact energy metering module and users management suitable for different types of plants.

It is particularly recommended for plants with thermostatic regulation.

The multifunction valve is equipped with a cartridge which has to be pre-set using the proper given key, regulating the grading scale on the upper side.

Once the planned flow rate value is set the balance will be automatic and it will never exceed the value set.

Thermostatic valve

Thermostatic valve is a self-regulating valve fitted to hot water heating system radiators, to control the temperature of a room by changing the flow of hot water to the radiator.

 

How does the thermostatic valve work?

The main components to the thermostatic valve is  a plug, typically made of wax, which expands or contracts with the surrounding temperature. 

This plug is connected to a pin and in turn connected to a valve.

The thermostatic valve gradually closes as the temperature of the surrounding area increases, limiting the amount of hot water entering the radiator. 

This allows a maximum temperature to be set for each room.

 

Heat cost allocator

The heat cost allocator is a devices attached to individual radiators in buildings that measure the total heat output of the individual radiator.

Più precisamente è ciò che si definisce un apparecchio ausiliare poiché esso non misura nessun parametro fisico (ad esempio litri o grammi) ma mostra degli algoritmi matematici. Essi rappresentano il valore proporzionale rispetto al consumo di riscaldamento totale dell’edificio.

Ne consegue che il consumo totale dell’appartamento potrà essere calcolato solamente attraverso i valori espressi da tutti gli altri ripartitori che saranno presenti anche nei restanti appartamenti che compongono l’edificio.

 

How does the heating cost allocator work?

The heating cost allocator calculates the consumption from the difference between the radiator  temperature and the room temperature. The room temperature is measured with the second sensor ensuring a  higher precision than one-sensor cost allocators which assume a fixed room temperature of 20 °C for consumption calculation.

The heat consumption data recorded with heat cost allocator are collected without entering the apartments through radio frequency by the central data collector in building.  By using expense billing software, each consumption values are used to create expense bills for each apartment.

The heating cost allocator is provided with a radio interface. The data are registered and transmitted. The data are stored for one year.

The metering are based on the difference between the radiator temperature and the room temperature detected by the second sensor.

The 2-sensor technology guarantees a better precision compared to single-sensor distributors and offers, moreover, a better protection against tampering.

Ryptron radio Wireless M-Bus complies with law EN 13757-4 relative to radio remote reading systems of counters. The radio interface, already configured, is supplied disabled and may be enabled through the relevant button on the device.

Factory settings allow the device reading both with mobile receivers and stationary receivers. Anyway, such settings can be modified by using the appropriate kit: optical head and Configuration Tool software (optional).

Radio factory settings: mode T1, long telegram (current value and monthly partial values), transmission every 2 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., from Monday to Friday, annual billing date (31/05).

COMPACT ENERGY METERING.

“EYRON” energy metering systems are electronic devices with microprocessor made of a single-jet volumetric meter.

The meters, connected to temperature and volume sensors, can measure the energy used for heating or cooling the rooms and the volume of domestic hot or cold water. They can also store relevant data and make them available for cost subdivisions.

Furthermore they are certified according to the law EN 1434 and they have the MID certification.

MIDE CERTIFICATO ROSSO

For energy metering, two temperature sensors (supply and return) and water meter are necessary.

This one collects data relative to the flow rate, while Δt is measured by PT 500 temperature sensors.

2 further signals may be linked to EYRON meter, usually data coming from volumetric meters for hot and cold domestic water.

COAXIAL ENERGY METERING.

“LVT/5” energy meter are electronic devices with microprocessor composed of a multi-jet volumetric meter. 

The device, connected to volume/temperature sensors, are able to meter the energy involved in room heating and cooling and the volumes of hot and cold sanitary water of 3 different volumetric meters, to store relevant data and make them available for costs subdivisions.

Moreover they have the compliance certification according to EN 1434 regulation and MID certification.

In order to meter the water consumptions the following devices are necessary: an EAS support, where the vector fluid flows, a LVT/5 meter and two temperature sensors supply and return) connected to the meter.

The latter, through EAS support, collects flow-rate data, while Δt is measured by PT500 temperature sensors.

3 additional signals may be connected to LVT/5 meter, usually data from volumetric meters for domestic cold and hot water.

WR3 MULTIDATA – Metering system in boiler room

Multidata WR3 is a metering unit controlled by a state-of-the-art microprocessor.

This measuring system allows, when combined with PT500 temperature sensors, to obtain the best measuring precision and stability.

The metering unit has been produced using the modern SMD technology.

A NEC microprocessor of the 75X series guarantees the energy efficiency inside the counter for over 6 years.

 

MULTIDATA_SCHEME

 

Both common volumetric counters with Reed switches and high-frequency electronic counters may be connected to the volume entries. Multidata WR3 may obviously work  with every volume rate. In case of compact devices, most of all volumetric counters intended as single stream counters, the counting unit may be separated from the device and hung to the wall. 

The multiplejet version and Woltmann version are designed only for the wall-assembling.  Malfunctioning are automatically identified and can be shown in the display, with date, duration and malfunction type.

The not working times are memorised and may be consulted in case of check-up. A memory guarantees, on regular time intervals, that all main data do not get lost. Moreover every device is equipped with an optical interface for mobile reading and for main parameters programming. All standard unit can be connected to 2 additional pulsers, e.g. a cold and hot water meter, the metering can be read on the display and can be measured from the read-out system.

Further versions for every measurement requirements are available: in this way it is possible to feed and select a greater quantity of devices through M-bus system. The heat meter is already set for data air transmission.
